The City of St. Cloud Code Enforcement Team is committed to ensuring clean, safe places for people to live and work through the assisting the public in achieving compliance with City codes and regulations.
The Code Enforcement Division
Code Enforcement is a unit of the St. Cloud Police Department and consists of five employees; one which is a Supervisor. Our Code Enforcement officers work under the direct supervision of the Community Policing Division Captain. Each officer is assigned to a specific zone and they collectively handle thousands of cases each year.

Lot Mowing: SCCC 24-162 (A)
It shall be unlawful for any property owner or tenant, either or both, to permit, allow or suffer any rank growth of weeds, grass, undergrowth, palmettos or other vegetation which might communicate fire or serve as a breeding place for, or harbor insects, rodents, snakes or other pests or vermin, and which may likely affect the health of citizens of the community to occur on such owner's or tenant's property, and permitting, allowing or suffering the same is declared a nuisance.
Junk and Trash: SCCC36-38 (A)
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to permit the accumulation of solid waste upon any exterior portion of the property, including the exterior portion of any building located thereon, for a period longer than seven days.
Abandoned/Inoperable Vehicles: SCCC24-52 (A)
It shall be unlawful for any person to permit, allow or suffer any abandoned, dangerous, derelict, inoperable, stripped or wrecked vehicle to be parked within the City limits.
The Code Enforcement Board Meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month in the Council Chambers at City Hall. The meeting is open to the Public.
