Services IT provides enterprise-wide technical services for all departments in the City that includes all hardware and software systems. The department supports a full suite of end-point devices such as desktop PCs, laptops, tablets, smart phones, and ruggedized mobile units. IT manages datacenter servers, storage, and backup systems along with all LAN/WAN networking components and circuits including Fiber and Wireless networks. The IT Team supports all telecommunications systems providing internal voice and video solutions, CCTV cameras, physical security access systems, and 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP). Additionally, IT manages the City’s Geographical Information System (GIS), Enterprise Financial Management software, and other department specific applications.
