SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT 2020 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
CITY OF ST. CLOUD, FLORIDA
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of St. Cloud, Osceola County, Florida, will substantially amend the 2020 Annual Action Plan to include public services that prevent, prepare for, and respond to COVID-19.
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: The Public Comment Period will be held from Tuesday, August 3, 2021 until Saturday, August 7, 2021. Under the provision of the CARES Act, the public comment period may be reduced to no less than 5-days to expedite the use of funds. The Substantial Amendment may be viewed at the Community Development Office at 1300 Ninth Street, St. Cloud, FL 34769 or on the City’s website at: http://www.stcloud.org
PURPOSE: The purpose of the public comment period is to allow the public to review and make comment on the Substantial Amendment to the City’s 2020 Annual Action Plan. The City will reallocate 15% of CDBG funds towards public services, some of which will be allocated for COVID-19 prevention and recovery activities. The City will also reallocate PY 2019 CDBG funds towards public services.

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Committee/Board, with respect to any matter considered at such hearing/meeting, such person will need a record of the proceedings and that, for this purpose, such person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, and which record is not provided by the City of St. Cloud.
