Precautionary boil water advisory in effect for Harmony area

Kissimmee, Fla. (Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022) — Following a power outage at the Harmony area water plant due to Hurricane Nicole, Toho Water Authority has restored service and issued a precautionary boil water advisory for customers in Harmony and the Pine Glen neighborhoods.

The precautionary boil water advisory will be in effect until lifted by Toho.

Water should be boiled prior to consumption (drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes) as a precautionary measure. A vigorous boil for one minute is adequate to render water bacteriologically safe for drinking. As an alternative bottled water may be used.
