Where can i dispose of my sharps containers or expired rx?

We accept sharps, used needles, at each of our fire stations when in an approved sharps disposal container. Disposal of needles in household garbage violates State and Federal Laws and is unsafe.

To dispose of expired medications, please follow instructions found at the Food and Drug Administration Website.

We Are Not An Authorized Location To Accept Expired Medications.

does the fire department do special events?

Where and how do I dispose of a fire extinguisher?

You may take fire extinguishers to the landfill or throw them away in your normal trash collection if fully depressurized.

How do i get a copy of my fire report?

Please visit the Public Records Request tab on the left side of the city website to request a copy of the fire report. It generally takes 7-10 days for the fire report to be sent to you.

how can i teach my child about fire safety?

Parents can review fire safety topics with special websites geared toward children. These websites use characters such as Sparky the Fire Dog and Smokey Bear to engage children in messages promoting fire safety in everyday life and preventing wildfires.
