Fireworks are legal to use on designated holidays. The designated holidays are Independence Day, July 4; New Year’s Eve, December 31; and New Year’s Day, January 1. Permits are still required for large fireworks displays and tents.
Do not attempt to light sparklers that have been damaged.
Do not throw sparkler wires in the grass.
Do not throw sparklers at people or vehicles.
Keep a pail of water handy in which to place used sparkler wires.
Use only in an area away from combustibles, brush, or buildings.
